Item description

Small table or wall lamp created by Czech designer Helena Frantová in 1953. The lamp has a simple, modernist yet sophisticated design. The body of the lamp is made of nickel plated steel. The round lamp shade with a shape reminiscent of the traditional Chinese hat is made of parchment, lined with coarse thread. Thanks to its lightweight body it can be used both as a reading lamp and hung on the wall. The lamp is in very good original condition fitted with one E27 socket. New handmade shade. Dimensions: 17 × 27 × 15 cm( W × H × D).
