Hebe is therefore the personification of the flourishing youth, the one that the Romans identified in the goddess Iuventas, the protector of teenagers.
One fine day on Olympus, Hebe is serving the gods when it slips to the ground.
The guise opens and slips away; The girl remains naked in front of the "scandalized" bystanders.
Nobody has a word of comfort for her, indeed she receives only looks of disapproval.
Zeus takes this opportunity to dismiss it from his head of Coppiera.
