Coffee table in glass with lamp by Restadesio, Italy, 70s

Piero Legrottaglie's hypomea table for Rimadesio, Italy, 1960s Designed in the 1960s by Piero Legrottaglie for Rimdesio, the "hypomea" table is a clear example of innovation in Italian design. Characterized by an elegant oval glass top often, it is supported by a transparent plexiglas cylinder that rests on a chromed steel base. One of its most distinctive characteristics is the integrated lighting system, consisting of three spotlights that illuminate the plexiglas structure, creating a sophisticated and suggestive effect. The electrical system has been completely overhauled to guarantee its perfect functionality. The table measures 120 x 80 x 34 cm (LXWXH) and is in excellent condition, with only slight signs of the time that enhance its vintage character. A rare and collectible piece, ideal for modern and contemporary interiors of mid -century.
