Golden bronze pendulum with mercury depicting the allegory of music. The female figure, erato, muse of lyric and love poetry, is depicted in a seat sitting with one foot laid on a fragment of Roman column while with the left hand it supports the lira. France, Restoration era (first half of the 19th century). Original mechanism overhauled and functioning with wire suspension. The dimensions are: 35 x 14, height 50 cm.
