Living room composed of 7 elements with oriental theme signed O. Cristani, 1930s

Completed living room decorated with oriental themes, signed O. Cristani and dated 1930. The artist realized the silhouettes of these seven pieces following the stylistic dictates of his time, while for the decorations he was inspired by oriental themes, dear to Liberty, called chinoiserie for their Sino-Japanese origin. In particular, the depiction of three Japanese cranes, an animal traditionally symbolic of strength, honor and loyalty and depicted not for nothing on the weapons in possession of the samurai caste, stands out on the backboard. The living room is composed of seven pieces: a modular sofa-bed, two armchairs and four ottomans. The back and seat of the sofa are separable and can take on an independent role in the decor. In particular, the back can also be used as a headboard at will, but can also be used as a decorative element. The armchairs take up the theme of the main piece of furniture and are decorated on each surface. The four ottomans are upholstered in pairs in two colors. Pieces can be sold separately. Backrest measurements: 110×195; Pair of armchairs: 73×66 h93; 4 Poufs: 55×55 h35.
