Freestanding corner bookcase with desk, 1950s

Corner bookcase with desk, produced in the 1950s and designed, probably, by one of the following designers: Osvaldo Borsani, Vittorio Dassi, or Paolo Buffa. It was designed as a single piece, finished with slatted details, and adaptable to any corner wall. Its structure is completely self-supporting and solid, also easy to assemble. It has many shelves, such as open areas for displaying books or objects, and several cabinets with interior shelves placed on the underside, all lockable. In addition, there are two adjacent compartments placed in the center of the left side. The first with a door decorated externally with an original framed picture protected by glass (signed: Eugenio Rossi, 1956), concealing a bar cabinet with a shelf, finished internally on all sides with mirrors. While, the second has two sliding glass doors with interior shelves. It also features a writing desk, finished around the perimeter by a slatted decoration, the so-called 'grissinatura,' as well as having a black glass top and three lockable drawers on the lower right side. It has no previous restoration and/or structural damage.
