Danish rosewood dresser by Henning Jørgensen for Fredericia, 1960s

Danish mid-century chest of drawers in rosewood, designed by Henning Jørgensen for Fredericia Furniture in the 1960s. It features five drawers with uniquely profiled solid rosewood handles. It is a beautiful piece of Danish origin with a functional design in which all the prominence falls on the expressive natural grain of the rosewood veneer. The slightly elongated edges at the top create an elegant shelf and the tapered legs in solid rosewood underline the Scandinavian origin. The legs are detachable for more convenient carrying. The dresser is in fantastic vintage condition, with clean, smoothly running drawers and a refreshed lacquer finish with professional compounds.
