High-quality walnut Art Deco sideboard, double-bodied cabinet. The upper part is a separate piece of furniture with a narrow shelf for wine glasses/decorations and sliding glass doors original to the period, the glass panes have an engraved sailboat decoration. The lower part has double side doors and, in the centre, four large drawers; all handles are bakelite. Note that one was damaged and has been glued on. The overall appearance is very smooth and elegant, with curves and a bold design, presenting the key elements of the 1950s period. It has been well preserved for years, so is in its best condition with minimal signs of use visible. Made in Italy in the 1950s.
