Beautiful portico clock in the Napoleon III Empire style. White Carrara marble frame with two columns. Rich decoration in chiselled and gilded bronze. Decoration of caryatids, palmettes, rosettes, chimera-shaped draperies, ears of corn and above a magnificent eagle with spread wings. Domed dial in white enamel with beautiful gilded hands, all protected by a domed glass. Large chiselled pendulum of the mask of Bacchus. Very well-proportioned porch with a beautiful contrast between marble and gilded bronze, pendulum very pleasant to look at. Original mechanism, chiming of the hours and half-hours on an old bell. La Vallèe mark on the dial and behind the sun/pendulum. Original box with signs of wear.
