Pair of footstools/stools from the 1960s. This furniture was designed by Karel Vyčítal and Miloš Sedláček for Dřevotvar Jablonné nad Orlicí in the former Czechoslovakia. Miloš Sedláček and Karel Vyčítal were the leading post-war Czechoslovak architects who worked for the Czechoslovak firm Dřevotvar Jablonné nad Orlicí. Their work was obviously inspired by post-war Scandinavian design, from which they not only drew inspiration, but which they tried to modify in various ways. This piece of furniture is made of beech wood and high quality fabric. It is in good vintage condition, with signs of age and use. The price is for the pair.
