Item description

Art Nouveau walnut folding sofa bed with inlays, early 20th century. Solid walnut wood structure. Prepared for use as a bed by folding the seat. Today the sofa has been restored by refurbishing the springs and the upholstery: with this intervention the use as a single bed has been "excluded"; the lower part is finished as a closure and not as a part to be shown and enhanced (see photo). It has a slight stain on the front on the fabric, easily removable (see photo). In the upper wooden part there are well-made inlays. This sofa remained in grandmother's classic living room, to be looked at but not used, and is therefore in really good condition. Seat height: 53 cm.
