Alveo coffee table by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, 1970s. This piece of furniture is recognizable by its central compartment and chrome corner elements; originally the central space was intended to serve as a bar compartment. The table was completely lacquered in green. Willy Rizzo (1928-2013) was an Italian photographer and designer known for his contributions in both fields. As a designer, he created a range of furniture that is often associated with the mid-20th-century modern design movement.
