Vela Alta armchair and footstool by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti, 1970s. This large gray leather armchair is in excellent condition. The soft leather of the armchair and footstool shows minor signs of wear. The dimensions offer high seating comfort. The chromed feet of the footstool are in perfect condition. The lines of the armchair are intended to recall a large sail that swells in the wind and is one of Offredi's classics. Seat height: 38 cm. Seat depth: 54 cm.
Italian designer Giovanni Offredi designed these armchairs for Saporiti Italia in the 1970s. Sergio Saporiti founded the company in the 1950s and since then it has been known for timeless designer furniture far ahead of its time.
