Mahogany, wood, brass and glass sideboard in the style of Paolo Buffa, 1950s

Sideboard by Paolo Buffa in mahogany, wood, brass and glass, 1950s. The central body of the sideboard has a beveled rectangular shape and the corners curve into a gentle line. The sideboard has four doors with brass handles and keys to open them. There are two side compartments with shelves and two central doors that form a large compartment with shelves. Above the top there is a thick, long, vertical pane of clear glass. The base is made of wood with a brass frame. An elegant curl is formed by two eccentric feet made entirely of gilded brass. The sideboard has some marks and scratches from age and use, but has a very nice glossy patina. There is a minimal crack line on the right side due to moisture. The glass/mirror top has some defects, see photo. The sideboard is in original condition with great craftsmanship and high quality materials. The present condition is consistent with age and use. Width 194 cm x Height 105 cm x Depth 56 cm. Weight 65 kg. Made in Italy 1950s.
