This extremely comfortable lounge armchair by Bruno Mathsson, produced by Dux, is an improved version of Pernilla made in the 1960s (the original version was made in 1944). The armchair has a minimalist, organic design with a curved seat and back in combination with a practical footrest that offers comfort and support. Both are made of curved beech plywood, canvas and a new natural sheepskin upholstery, which makes the piece extremely comfortable, perfect for long cold evenings with a book. Sheepskin has great anti-allergic properties and provides an electrostatic balance, which is very important in contemporary interiors filled with artificial materials. Overall, the Perilla chair is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture that embodies the Danish design philosophy of simplicity, functionality and quality. Its excellent condition offers overwhelming comfort! It is one of the most comfortable lounge chairs in history. The wood and canvas are in original condition with slight traces of use.
