Plexus living room set in oak by Illum Wikkelsø for CFC Silkeborg, 1960s

Sold

The living room set consists of three armchairs from the Plexus series with original wool upholstery, designed by Illum Wikkelsø in the 1950s and produced by CFC Silkeborg. This set of Plexus armchairs has an oak frame and goose down filled cushions upholstered with original wool from C.F. Christensen in Denmark. Manufacturer's sticker retained. The Plexus series is designed to be disassembled and combined into larger sets, e.g. two Plexus chairs to form a sofa, etc. The set we present is the most attractive, a two-seater sofa and a lounge chair. However, the final configuration is up to you. The set is in very good condition with only slight signs of use. The fabric has survived almost intact, which is a miracle for such a bright colour. However, we leave small, natural signs of use, which do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm originality. We try to restore it to its best appearance, considering that it is 60 years old. Customers from all over the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, please contact us for explanations and close-ups of the piece. Manufacturer's sticker retained. Additional dimensions: armrest height 64 cm, floor height 27 cm.
