Veronese walnut-root flap desk, late 19th century. Characterized by wavy lines on all exposed surfaces. In the lower part are three chests of drawers while in the upper part the front flap conceals within it a writing surface, four small drawers and a small central compartment closed by a door. Original bronze hardware.
