Set of six New Harmony chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto, 1970s. Structure in turned solid walnut with thread inlays of other essences, seat in glossy polyester lacquered wood. Seat height: 43 cm. The New Harmony series, launched in 1979, presents a unique line combining wood with other fine materials, such as lacquer and leather, treated with Maxalto's exclusive techniques. From iconic pieces designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa to Antonio Citterio's new interpretation of modernism, Maxalto follows the evolution of high-end furniture.
