Nickel-plated brass and white methacrylate 4006 chandelier by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Kartell, 1959

Rare pendant lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1959. Double shade in white methacrylate with nickel-plated brass fittings. Original wiring working with 1 E27 socket. The lamp consists of 2 main lampshades: a small one composed of 2 half-spheres that contains the bulb; and a larger shade that rests on the structure. A small white methacrylate disc completes the design of the lamp at the top. Very good general condition: nickel-plated oxidation as per photo. The height (75 cm) is determined by the electric cable and is therefore adjustable.
