Nickel and Murano glass chandelier by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, 1970s

Chandelier by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, 1970s. Solid nickel structure with thirty-six hooks and matching canopy, supported by a steel cable with separate wiring. Thirty-six large, hand-crafted Murano glass disks of iridescent, sparkling white glass; every single piece is different from the other. The glass disks have a diameter of 15 cm, this is the maximum size. They are incredibly beautiful, the transparent-off-white Murano glass shimmers depending on the light (in the photos the effect is barely visible). On the back of each disk you can see where the glass has been cut by hand. All glass disks are in excellent condition, as is the lamp structure. Overall an excellent rare vintage piece in perfect working order. It can be used with both 220V/240V and 110V/120V.
