Pair of small Murano glass vases by Vittorio Rigattieri for Seguso, original production from the 1970s. They were made with the idea of recreating Etruscan finds during archaeological excavations: they are in fact made of "scavo" glass, an ornamental glass with a rough surface and a matt finish enriched with white powder; this really wants to reproduce an ancient material. Present Seguso brand on the bottom. The two vases are similar, not the same. The one on the left in the photos has wing-shaped "handles"; it is 13.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 7 cm deep. In the second vase the handles have a more wavy shape, with round humps; it is 14 cm high, 10 cm wide and 7 cm deep. Excellent condition, intact, without any cracks or breaks (see photos).
