An incredible hand-carved wooden bas-relief depicting two Amazons on a red background. Made by C.C. Mannini in the 1930s, it is signed on one side. It is a superb decorative piece that testifies to the elegance and imagination of the Italian Art Deco movement. The overall condition is good, with normal signs of use and age.
