Rare and imposing "Re Quadro" coffee table by Paolo Piva for B&B Italia, 1980s. The black lacquered wood top forms two layers of an inverted pyramid, while the shape folds on itself to meet a central geometric base in travertine. The pyramid structure was a recurring source of inspiration for Paolo Piva. The "Re Quadro" coffee table is an iconic piece that inaugurated the design of the 80s. Wear consistent with age and use.
