Wall sconce in teak and brushed metal by Hans-Agne Jakobbsen, 60s

H.A. Jakobbsen was one of Sweden's leading 20th century decorators and designers, a master of color and light direction, specializing in the design of softly lit lamps. In his homeland, his work can be found in numerous buildings and public spaces. The wall lamp is made of teak wood and brushed metal. There are two salient features: the decoration of holes that adorns the metal hat that, in addition to enjoying the geometric beauty, allow a light but effective diffusion of light and the ability to adjust the height of the hat from the ground, thanks to the possibility of sliding the electricity cable inside the wooden arm. Measurements: wooden arm length 34.5 cm; pin height 10.5 cm; hat height 20 cm; diameter at the base 12.5 cm.
