Table lamp with white base by Seguso, Scavo collection. Scavo refers to a type of ornamental glass with a rough surface with a matte finish imitating antique glass, similar to that of scavo glass. The effect is achieved by sprinkling the surface of the glowing glass after modelling it with a mixture of high melting oxides and low melting salts. The outside is thus opaque, while the inside is shiny. Fan shade with moiré fabric and contrasting profile. 1970s.
