Gala table lamp by Paolo Rizzatto for Arteluce, 1970s

The Gala table lamp for Arteluce was created in 1978 from an idea of the designer Paolo Rizzatto who interpreted the concept of the old abat-jour by renewing and updating it with particularly innovative materials and ways of supporting the shade. It is a diffused light lamp with a base and vertical rods in black painted metal while the diffuser, adjustable in height, is in PVC coupled with fabric. It mounts a 1x100 W opaline glass bulb. The product is for display and is in very good condition overall; it shows small signs of time on the diffuser.
