Chaise longue LC4 1401 by Le Corbusier, Perriand and Jeanneret for MDF Italia, late 1990s. Great Masters of Design Series (20th century). The LC4, designed by the trio of rationalist architects Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeannaret in 1928, was featured on pages 60 and 61 in the MDF Italia catalog with code 1401. Chrome-plated tubular steel structure with black elastic straps. Backrest equipped with soft polyurethane foam padded mattress, upholstered with soft burgundy Tuscan hammered leather with exposed edge and stitching. Excellent condition, used as a pure furniture item. Well-tight straps and shiny chrome.
