Sculptural paperweight in transparent Murano glass with bubbles inside, 1960s. Carefully crafted through a complex technique, which involves injecting air into the glass while it is still hot. It is extremely well preserved and very charming. The surface is smooth and shows no signs of time, other than small and predictable dents; it has no chips, neither on the surface nor along the profile of the base. It is still shiny and the color of the glass is a beautiful shade of transparent aquamarine. Its attractive simplicity and mesmerizing details make it ideal for placing in a contemporary setting, whether as a paperweight or as a simple decorative piece.
