Green Murano blown glass vase by IVM, 1960s

Green Murano glass vase by IVM, 1960s. Hand-blown glass decorated with a printed spiral motif that runs along the entire surface. A small original sticker, visible in the photos but very faded, reads "IVM", confidently attributing the vase to the "Industrie Vetrarie Muranesi", a company founded by the Mazzega family in the late 1950s. Mazzega is one of the most important names on the island of Murano, with a long glassmaking tradition that dates back generations. They have been able to evolve their taste, decade after decade, always remaining at the pinnacle of Murano glassblowing, also thanks to the collaboration with famous designers such as Ermanno Nason. This vase is very well preserved and has a pleasant patina, no damage.
